Your Internet usage is not tracked by SEPL. SEPL does not have access to or collect usage data, and does not provide patron information to the service provider. The only data about the Mobile Hotspot lending program that SEPL collects is:

• The total amount of data transmitted and received by each device during a billing cycle.
• Anonymous circulation data related to checkouts of the Mobile Hotspot devices.

The mobile hotspot has prompted me to update the software. Should I do that?
Yes. The mobile hotspot periodically receives software updates from the service provider. You can go ahead and accept the update. The software upgrade process only takes a few minutes.
